ZO®3-Step Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel developed by world-renowned dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi. This advanced treatment targets a wide range of skin concerns, including pigmentation irregularities, acne, sun damage, fine lines, and texture issues. With a blend of exfoliants, retinol, and multi-action agents, the ZO® 3-Step Peel delivers remarkable improvements to your skin’s overall health and appearance.

The chemical treatment and at-home follow-up treatment are safe for all skin types and work to improve skin health to treat the root of the problem and ensure long-lasting results.

• Peel Solution – The first step is an in-office application of a peel solution containing 17% salicylic acid, 5% lactic acid, and 10% trichloroacetic acid (TCA). This combination gently exfoliates the topmost layers of the skin, reduces inflammation, and hydrates.
• Retinol Crème Complex – Second, your skincare professional will apply  a stimulating 6% Retinol Crème. This step stimulates deep cellular function, promoting collagen production, skin tightening, and wrinkle reduction.
• Hydrating Crème – Finally, as an ongoing treatment, you will take home the calming Hydrating Crème to minimizes redness and irritation that may occur after the first two steps. Applying the gentle cream restores moisture and protects your skin.

The ZO® 3-Step Peel uses a combination of highly effective ingredients to achieve dramatic results. Before undergoing a ZO 3-Step Peel, it is essential to prepare your skin. This is a required step for our clients so they may receive the best possible results from their peel. 

We will recommend to pre-treat your skin at home, 4 weeks prior to the peel with a ZO daily skin care kit (includes cleanser, toner, exfoliator, and daily power defense) & wrinkle and texture repair (contains retinol). 

Your preparation may also include staying away from certain skincare products or treatments and avoiding excessive sun exposure.

During the treatment, your skincare professional will apply each step of the ZO 3-Step Peel. You may experience a warm, tingling sensation during the application process, which is temporary and subsides quickly. The entire procedure typically takes around 30 minutes, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules.

After your ZO 3-Step Peel treatment, your skincare professional will provide you with detailed instructions for post-peel care. You must follow these guidelines to ensure optimal healing and maximize the benefits of the treatment.

You may experience mild redness, flaking, or peeling for a few days after the peel. But these side-effects are temporary and will reveal fresh, rejuvenated skin.

Initial results appear after peeling, usually within 3 to 5 days post-treatment, with skin texture and clarity improvements. Full benefits and more significant changes may be observed within two weeks as the skin continues to heal and regenerate​. It’s important to follow post-care instructions to promote the best results.

The recommended frequency depends on your specific skin concerns and goals. We suggest at least three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results.​

There is minimal to no downtime associated with the ZO® 3-Step Peel. Some individuals may experience peeling, itching, or mild swelling. Still, these are typical post-procedure signs and vary by skin type.​

It is advisable to avoid other skin treatments such as laser, IPL, or microdermabrasion until your skin has fully healed from the peel. We can guide you on when it’s safe to resume or combine other treatments.​
